First fire of the season yesterday

Last night we had the first fire of the fall. it has been getting down into the 40's at night this past week so we know Autumn is on its way. Today I went out and dug up carrots and potatos . I also pulled up lettuce that has bolted for the chickens. 

Checked my hanging pots......it has not gotten below freezing yet so they are still doing OK.

I had mushrooms still going from all the recent rain!

I picked a couple of my pumpkins because the deer did get some of the squash.
