crockpot applesauce

Here is my recipe for crockpot applesauce
25 small apples peeled and cored
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup water
1teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon of cloves

Put the first four items in the crockpot and mix well. Add spices and mix well. (About 4 hours in I taste check to see if it needs any extra sugar or spices).
Cover and cook on low 8 hours. Thats it.
Enjoy hot with ice cream
Applesauce freezes very well!
BTW this applsauce is a bit darker than you may be used to because of the brown sugar /cinnamon mix!

Out to the garage for the big orange bin....dig through that and realized I have more Halloween stuff somewhere.

Just a few things for Halloween

This Bush

I have no idea what type of bush this is. It is always some of the best fall color on the place.

The maples are finally turning but there is a storm a brewing so they may not last long on the trees
