Well we are now getting some eggs. 3 Today!!!! Bill adjusted the nesting boxes higher and put the roosts a bit higher too.The ladies seem to like it. Tonight I put in some new hay and we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Earlier this week (Tuesday Oct 4th) we had a first fire in the woodstove...very toasty. That was a week later than last year! We still are above freezing at night for hopefully another week.
After work today I pulled the remaining potatoes and a few carrots. We still have lots of green tomatoes and since it is getting dark now before 7pm I doubt they will turn red on the vine.
