Spring is here and I have explored the yard. Several downed trees, the first wildflowers are coming up and it is time to go through the seeds and decide what to plant. My craggy gnomes made it through with minimal damage ,the birdbaths did not fair so well.....and I am finding little piles of what may be fairy houses around the yard. Haven and I will investigate and keep you posted. All the bulbs and columbines are coming up  Oh and I did one little Easter tree.......with many more eggs waiting to be threaded!

It is not SPRING but it sure feels like it

Did a delicious pot roast today. Bill made his famous rolls. Took a lovely walk in the sun and check on how many downed trees from the winter weather. Only a few and Bill will get on those this week.

Thrift store day/My Favorite Things

Some Fridays the girls go thrift store shopping. This trip we hit the antique mall My Favorite Things in Post Falls as well as the Hospice and St Vinnie's. I love My Favorite Things because they have the best displays. The umbrella ceiling alone is worth the trip! This Jewelry display is just under the umbrellas. The Ladies kicking back and enjoying a candy bribe. So many girlie items and hats and loads of dolls. Cute vintage stuff. Some people just poop out I love these plates The perfect stroller Dolls Dolls Dolls! Chelsea found this lovely paddle. Just another quick rest PYREX! More raggedys than I have seen in one place.

Happy New Year 2015

No snow Christmas day. The snow came a few days later and today is coming along nicely. Dealing with it is another issue! We had a nice quiet Christmas and a peaceful New Year's Day as well. Lots of good food and buttered rum although the power went out (twice) the day we celebrated and left us with a rather raw prime rib...... and even though Bill bought the Keurig for me I think he has enjoyed it as much or more.
