Welcome and

Being a working artist has given me the opportunity to show my artwork in a variety of places. I sometimes feel like I have tunnel vision.... ART ART ART!

My whole life I have wanted to live out in the country and 9 years ago I moved to Idaho with the idea that I would get closer to that goal by coming here.

When I arrived on this little patch of five acres I began building that life. My guy Bill came along 3 years ago with similar goals and now we are working together on creating this country home.

Bill has developed his style of gardening and I have mine. He is more scientific and I am more intuitive.

This blog really started as a way for me to keep track of what I was planting in the yard (now that I am OLD I forget what I have in 5 minutes after I plant it) and the IDAHO weather year to year. It has turned into a life journal for everything other than art.

In addition to the garden we keep chickens, have our old Lab/Dane mix, Hamish, Chica, the tortoise shell cat and have added 2 new Jack Russell pups,Max and Moxie.

We are starting to add some of our recipes and hope if you try them you will let us know how the turn out!
