the THAW

Last weekend winter, this weekend spring! It was 55 degrees today and the first day we had the heater completely off. A very good sign. We took the dogs for a long walk for the first time in a month or so and looked at trees to take down for next years wood. I did the cooking this weekend since Bill is smoking sausages and bacon. We had Tamale Pie for dinner on Sat and gouda/bacon grilled cheese tonight both good recipes from Pinterest. I also almost finished painting Chelsea's changing table and got some prep done for this weeks classes. A few loads of laundry and some social networking for the stamp show in April. Some weekends it seems like I get nothing done but when I write down everything I did....WOW, I got a few items off the list!
