This time of year there are so many little mushrooms and fungi growing everywhere.This year is spectacular. Tons of little ones and my red ones are back. It has been a super wet autumn with random sunny days perfect for shrooms!

So it has been a busy summer so far. Gangbuster in the flower/shrub/tree department. Not so hot in the vegetable department. It has been a cool summer for the most part also rainy and windy. Many of our standard items that do well like squashes and pumpkins has had it tough. we really won't know until fall but the winner this year looks like carrots and spinach.  Big surprise in the potted area ....ARTICHOKES!

This winter we had a lot of tree damage......fallen trees, tops down  and loads of branches down so many in fact I cannot get through on any paths. This means much slash burning next week! There are so many little little flowers out there I had to show a few, including the lovely....Puschkinia! buttercups of course Trees everywhere! My little cedar survives another winter! The mushroom and fungi are rampant mini flowers everywhere and anywhere! and a bunch of tiny trees coming up to replace the fallen!

just in waiting mode....till the weather warms up. Sitting with the seed basket today starting to make choices.....it's a process. The fence fell down around the garden due to some rough weather that will need to be fixed first, among the 3000 other things that need to get done! Spring is on its way!

It is so hard to believe Christmas has past and a New year has begun. Around here we are already planning for spring! Seeds are one of our common conversations  These two are hard to catch in a motionless state  The first Snow Tea & coffee everyday Our yummy evening...first at Bonsai Bistro then a hot chocolate over at the resort...A cake pop for Haven!  Haven took these pics of Poppa!
