I thought it was spring nothing like corn snow in April

one cabbage made four pints, Bill ate one pint already.

After 6 weeks the sauerkraut is ready to can up. Bill is getting that done today.

I have many and wish I had even more. The tulips are dwindling though I really   need to plant more this fall.

I should plant many more of these too. They do well and none of the wild life seem to like them although maybe they have not found them yet!

So far only 3 but with the sun today possibly more. We are heavily into potting up seeds today and getting the potato pots ready.  We had potato disaster last year.....probably due to a combo of small creatures and too high a nitrogen fertilizer. This year we are putting in 3 varieties of taters Viking ....a red  Yukon Gold .....of course Rose Finn  ....a fingerling I may cave in and put a few in the ground as well...... We are not doing as much corn as last year. The peas are in, some carrots and lettuces and spinach so far.
